Whether a stadium or a bus station shelter – we approach every contract with great care and attention. For the bus station shelter designed as a knight’s tent we installed two articulated pylons. A membrane was stretched from these highest points downwards to the wall panels and fixed to these.

In this area, our strength lies in finding creative solutions for work in locations difficult to access such as this bridge abutment. A platform was installed at the highest point of the bridge construction in order that the subsequent trades could also carry out the refurbishment of the steel cable anchorage while the bridge was in operation.

On the building site of the Allianz Arena the technology used for the work platform nets was successfully and reliably implemented. With the help of at times up to 125 assembly fitters, under the directorship of the Membranteam, 2.816 rhombic pneumatic cushions made of ETFE foil including, the entire air inlet technology, were installed on the stadium envelope. This 66.000 m² large membrane shell is the largest in the world. 
The movable suspended ceiling as well as the fine adjustment of the individual strips of membrane were also successfully executed by the Membranteam employees.

As we have a pool of assembly specialists with different skills, the FIFA 2006 was a welcome challenge for us. For two years, the DFB football globe was assembled and disassembled by the Membranteam in a total of 8 cities. In addition to the installation of 29 three-layered pneumatic foil cushions and the two-part steel ridge field, the scope of activity included the installation of the air conduction, the sealing of the construction, and the installation of the gutter heating.

For the roof covering of a grandstand, in cooperation with the Inauen & Schätti, the steel construction was erected and covered with a PTFE membrane section for section.

We specialize in scaffold-free work in exposed locations such as these towers. Here, the paintwork was carried out on three 100m high chimneys belonging to the thermal waste processing plant in Nuremburg, solely with the aid of cable pull technology.

Collaborating with the planning and implementation of the ideas of our clients is a welcome challenge in each project. First of all, PVC foil was stretched over a steel ring mounted on four supports. Finally, the self-contained envelope was shaped into a dome using blowers.
