As specialists for installation work in places difficult to access, our experienced installers inspected the glass façade and the roof cladding and repaired damages in the areas where they discovered undesired changes.

For this contract, our scope of services included the installation of the inner membrane, the installation of work platform nets for other trades, as well as the installation of the steel arches!
The world largest retractable inner membrane, 10.000 m2 in size, was suspended as one piece and thanks to a meticulously though-out folding plan, it could be installed efficiently without problems. In addition, we installed work platform nets specially tailored to fit the steel arch previously installed by us.

Despite extremely hot temperatures, the membrane team could smoothly and on schedule, perform the installation of the specially for the steel arches assembled working platform nets, so on this the customer with their workers were able to safely install the outer membrane of the arches.

Als be­son­de­re Her­aus­for­de­rung wurde ab­schlie­ßend die welt­weit grö­ß­te ver­fahr­ba­re Mem­bra­ne am Stück - mit etwa 10.000 m² Flä­che - ein­ge­baut.

Once the highest section the “glass hat” had been installed and the roof membrane was attached, the complete roof construction was hooked in at a height of 13m and positioned above a steel tripod support. Following this, the roof of the unusual classroom, with a diameter of 20m, could be stretched in its final shape by tensioning the eight suspension ropes.
Now the approx. 300 pupils can enjoy their open-air lessons, well-protected and sheltered from the weather!

Our special working platform “Spider” was in operation in the new ADAC building in Munich. Using “Spider”, an extremely compact, flexible and manoeuvrable special working platform, the Membranteam installed sunscreen membranes and acoustic screens on the ceiling of the glass foyer in the new ADAC building.

In order to realize the membrane roof extension of the Mercedes Benz Arena, the Membran team installed the entire new rope construction, including 40 air connectors, 64 membrane arcs and 40 membrane roof sections. The 30-ton inner rope ring with the 40 radial rope axes was lifted and bolted in by our 25 employees using pure muscular strength in a twelve-hour lifting process.
We also worked for other clients, for example Taiyo Europe GmbH, replacing existing membranes, and for the EnBW AG, installing the light platforms and video walls, as well as carrying out maintenance work on the existing roof for the stadium Neckar­Park GmbH.

In coordination with the assembly cycle of the other trades, our professionally trained industrial climbers installed work platform nets, specially designed for this purpose by the Membranteam, in the silos at heights of up to 60m, moving these into a vertical position according to the building phase.
